“I GIVE 110% TO MY PATIENTS, EVERY SINGLE TIME.”
Physician's Statement
My father is the person who inspired me to go into medicine. For as far back as I can remember, my father has devoted his life to medicine, to the hospital, and to his patients. I have vivid memories as a little boy growing up in The Bronx. when my father would take me with him on rounds at the hospital. I suppose you could say that medicine is in my blood.
When I left home for college, I dabbled in computer science but quickly realized that I was destined to become a physician. I have worked my entire career to be the best surgeon, always learning and continuing to strive for excellence at every turn. I am mindful of the humanity of each patient who sees me – often thinking of their personal and unique circumstances, their families, their children and grandchildren – which only fuels me further to ensure that their quality of life is protected.
I pride myself on a bedside manner that upholds the utmost professionalism, while still creating an environment for my patients that is relaxed and open. My favorite thing is when patients come back to me year after year and we develop a friendship. With some patients, annual visits can feel like catching up with an old friend rather than a typical medical appointment.
